Philadelphia Bus Tour

The bus tour will only take place if we have at least 50 participants interested by September 30th, 2010.  Please email the organizer directly if interested as you are not able to purchase the tour tickets at the present time.

For those interested in a bit of site-seeing while staying in Philadelphia, we are offering a bus tour on Friday, October 29th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Price for the tour is $40.00 per person and includes transportation and walking tour of Philadelphia's most prominent places. Lunch is not provided.
 

Tour Schedule:

1:00am – Depart from Ramada Hotel, Philadelphia

1:30pm – Arrive in Olde City, Philadelphia, Begin “The Constitutional” Walking Tour

  3:00pm – Board bus for trip to GENO’S STEAKS and drive around Philadelphia

  4:00pm – Arrive at Ramada Hotel, Philadelphia

Since Philadelphia is best seen by foot, we will start with “The Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia”. The Constitutional is the best way to explore America's Birthplace, taking you behind the scenes to the places where other tours cannot venture. Get an up close Historical Experience and visit more than 20 historic sites in 75 minutes on a 1.25 mile outdoor walking journey. Guided by our own private tour guide, some sites seen will include:

Last but not least, our trip to Philadelphia just wouldn’t be complete without stopping for one of our famous Philly Cheese Steak!

Our last stop will take us to GENO’S STEAKS, arguably the best cheese steaks that South Philly has to offer! Prices range from about $7-$8 (not incuded in the bus tour) per sandwich. Fries and beverages are also available at an additional charge. A word of warning: Be prepared and know how to order because the service is fast and the line keeps moving! For example, on a cheese steak with onions specify which kind of cheese you'd like (Provolone, American, or Cheese Whiz). By the time you have given your order, your money will be taken and your sandwich will be out the window nice and hot! At the next window you can pick up your soda, fries, and coffee.

After we pick up our Philly Cheese Steaks, we will head back to the bus to drive around Philadelphia to show you other famous landmarks and then head back to the hotel. You will have plenty of time to get rest and ready for the evening activities.
